This was the 4th restaurant for these clients and they were developing a French Bistro concept with a patisserie.
The clients required a main body of the restaurant to be open yet allow some of the patrons to have some privacy with booth seating. A large bar was created to be a feature and to act as a waiting area as well as a way to create its own energy with out disrupting the dining room.
The owner is a superb baker and wanted a patisserie to function as a separate space to the restaurant yet still have access to the restaurant. This was design to have the French street side patisserie ambiance.
Finally to complete the concept an exterior patio was created with doors that would fully open to take advantage ofpleasant days
